About the role
Exciting permanent opportunity for a highly motivated and commercially astute Brand Manager to join our ANZ Marketing team in Melbourne. Bring your FMCG industry knowledge and expertise to drive strategy and business outcomes within our Ambient Pantry & Chilled portfolio. You will lead projects and brand activations to help achieve the portfolio growth agenda. The role has a degree of complexity given the portfolio.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
**Strategy Development**: working with the Marketing Manager to develop insight led marketing plans for the portfolio.
Implementation of the brand marketing plans across customers and channels that deliver to the budgeted performance targets.
Portfolio management and development of the innovation funnel and
NPD project management that requires diligent timing management due to an external supply chain.
Brand and NPD activation planning and execution, working collaboratively with sales regarding in-store programs that align to the overall marketing plan.
Support product development (innovation and product improvements) across our international supplier base.
Detailed performance tracking of NPD and total portfolio with insights and recommendations shared cross functionally.
A&P management ensuring spend is in line with budget.
Help deliver relevant business insights to inform the channel/customer plans and relevant NPD projects.
About You
To thrive in this role, you be a self-motivated and driven individual, with a proven ability to work both independently and within cross functional teams. If you are results oriented and enjoy working within the FMCG sector, then this role is for you
Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Commerce or similar.
Knowledge of FMCG industry and / or Food Marketing.
Strong track record in Brand Marketing in the retail channel marketing to consumers, including innovation and activation.
**Commercial mindset**: understanding of the commercial P&L and A&P budget management.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Analysis using scan data and retailer platforms i.e. Quantium/ Circana to help find key insights to unlock growth (preferred).
Tenacity and strong influencing skills.
