**The Role**
The Project Support Officer duties will entail the following:

- Manage project administration within the Directorate of Portfolio Performance Measurement.
- Lead and coordinate regular project reporting, including status updates, exception reports and regular reporting.
- Stakeholder engagement and liaison.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and communicate across the organisation at all levels.
- Have experience in procurement planning, tendering, and contract formation and contract management activities.
- Have experience in stakeholder change and communications.
- Draft and prepare briefing documents, briefing packages, reporting and workshop documentation.
- Support the Director and Assistant Director and Delivery Manager by completing administration duties as directed.

Investment Portfolio Management Branch supports the highest-level decision makers in Defence and government by providing independent analysis and advice to deliver a more capable Australian Defence Force (ADF). We directly support the Vice Chief of the Defence Force in his role as Chair of the investment Committee and we are an influential voice with the ability to shape and assure outcomes on the big investment decisions for the ADF.
