**The Role**

The Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Maritime Systems Program Office (EWIS-Maritime SPO) is seeking a highly professional, motivated and skilled APS 6 Project Support Officer to join the Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare (MMEW) Team. As the APS 6 Project Support Officer you will be an integral part of the team that collaborates to ensure the complex projects adhere to compliance and legislative frameworks through effective decision making and excellent time management.

As part of the MMEW Team, you will have sound business acumen, operate independently and be required to exercise sound judgement, decision-making and have a keen attention to detail. Operating within a high functioning team, you will be required to engage and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including Defence Industry, to support the delivery of project outcomes. You will assess and adjust project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities in compliance with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks. This includes coordination functions, and preparing drafts and briefs for senior leadership in support of MMEW projects. You will undertake research and analysis, conduct reviews, assessments and provide project support to achieve results.

This role is part of a career pathway in project management and is suited to a self-starter who actively engages in self-improvement and professional development. To be successful in the role you will need to have demonstrated experience in providing a range of project support activities to a range of stakeholders in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

**About our Team**
EWIS-Maritime SPO currently manages a number of Electronic Warfare systems fitted to both the surface and sub-surface fleet, such as the Nulka Decoy product and various Sensors and Electronic Attack products in both acquisition and sustainment phases. The SPO delivers these capabilities to both the Australian Defence Force and United States Navy.
