**The Role**
We seek an experienced project officer that has competencies in resourcing, scheduling and budget management. You will also be responsible for procurement and contract management. You will be proficient in time management, stakeholder engagement and understanding process and protocols. This role directly contributes to how our Branch does business and sits within the strategic centre of Defence.

**About our Team**
Force Exploration Branch is responsible for supporting National Preparedness by ensuring Defence is able to Defend Australia’s National Interest and contribute to the national effort in time of crisis. We support development of a resilient, self-reliant and secure Australia to advance our security and prosperity, capable of meeting today and tomorrow’s challenges.

The Branch consists of three Directorates: Preparedness, Mobilisation and Coordination. We are looking for passionate team members to bring their breadth and depth of skills to contribute to the strategic nature of our business. You will be working in environment that has APS, ADF (both permanent and Reserve) and contracted resources. This allows for diversity in thought and mutual learning opportunities.

Ideally you will have a minimum of three years project management experience. You will be a self-starter that can work autonomously and contribute in a team environment. You have a propensity for further learning and can work in ambiguity - when required. You understand work/life balance and aim for excellence in your deliverables.
