**The Role**
Within the Joint Cyber and Influence Projects Directorate, the APS4 Project Support Officer is accountable, under limited direction, to perform and achieve moderately complex project work within an integrated workforce. You will demonstrate a good understanding of, and compliance with, relevant legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy requirements.

The successful applicant will undertake a number of key duties including:

- Assisting with project support tasks including the administration and coordination of project documentation, and taking initiative.
- Evaluating and providing advice on non-traditional capability or novel project proposals.
- Demonstrating understanding of the reasons for decisions relating to project support and the broader impacts and implications of activities.
- Working collaboratively and operating as an effective team member.
- Building and sustaining productive working relations both internally and externally.

**About our Team**
Joint Information Capabilities Branch (JICB) is one of four branches within the Joint Capabilities Division in Joint Capabilities Group (JCG). JCG was formed in July 2017 with the mandate to deliver joint warfighting capabilities to the ADF. JICB is a blended workforce of APS, ADF, and Contracted personnel who work together with a One Defence mindset to support Defence outcomes with offices located within the Canberra region JICB develops and manages a number of capabilities being:

- Joint Cyber & Influence Projects (JCIP).
- Joint Simulation Capabilities (JSC).
- Assured Position Navigation Timing (PNT).
- Joint Electronic Warfare (EW).
- Project Management Office (PMO).

The Joint Cyber and Influence Projects (JCIP) Directorate manages key projects within the Joint Information Capabilities (JIC) Branch, delivering a number of outcomes that support Defence Cyber Domain objectives.
