**The Role**
The APS 6 Quality Management Systems Officer provides support to the EL 1 Quality and Business Management Systems Manager in the delivery of complex to very complex business intelligence work, in support of the Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems (MIWS) Branch quality and business management systems.

The APS 6 Quality Management System Officer will primarily plan and manage the Maritime Integrated Warfare Systems Branch Audit Program, working with key stakeholders across the Branch, Division, Group, Defence and more broadly with external audit parties.

This will include managing compliance and audit activities encompassing audit review actions, non-conformances and opportunities for improvements from internal and external audits.

This will also include managing quality assurance, governance, corporate evaluation, monitoring, reporting activities and identification of improvements for quality assurance processes and practices; whilst implementing and providing advice on efficient and effective quality assurance.
