**Purpose**

The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for the delivery of business requirement activities
and to support the end-to-end delivery of Information Services (IS) projects.

The ability to build and maintain solid relationships with both internal and external
stakeholders is an important element of this role, as well as strong interpersonal and
communication skills.

With some direction this position is to elicit the as-is process and develop to-be processes,
document business requirements, liaise with vendors to clarify business requirements, and
support the testing and implementation phases of the project with the key focus on
improving the City of Marion customer experience.

A broad technical understanding of ICT and how technologies can be used to achieve
innovative and successful business outcomes is key to the success of this role.

As an ongoing commitment to the organisation, you will be responsible for delivering the
best service to our community and to improve residents' quality life; continuously, smartly
and efficiently in the scope of your daily work.

**Key Deliverables**
- Manage ICT Project activities by developing work schedules and taking ownership of

tasks to meet various project deliverables and milestones, with an emphasis on
resolving issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide technical guidance when engaging the business to determine what ICT

technologies can be applied and implemented.
- Assume a project Business Analyst role in planning and coordinating activities to

develop initiation documentation, business cases, business requirements, technical
requirements, business process analysis, modelling, documentation of As-Is and To
- Be processes and gap analysis, testing scripts, training, change management
documents, etc. Any documentation required as part of the assigned project(s).
- Handling project dependencies, interfaces, and risk management to ensure the

project’s success.
- Develop, implement and maintain appropriate supporting documentation for project.
- Develop effective working relationships with all project stakeholders to drive business

activities to support the delivery of projects.
- Be an innovative, positive, and dynamic leader for the organisation.
- Coordinate and manage relevant IT vendors for ongoing change and release

management.
