We are looking for a Demand Planner wanting to take ownership of the Demand Planning & Inventory function along with executing the S&OP Process to take the company forward in their customer’s needs. This role will manage Demand Planning for APAC Region.

Your duties will include
- Develop and maintain a demand planning system that utilises accurate forecasts and sales prediction from regional level through to customer and product level to produce production plans
- Develop, implement, and maintain the inventory control function
- Support Global SC Manager on running monthly/quarterly S&OP process
- Ensure there is alignment between the demand forecast & operations, communicating any divergences from normal operations with the operations team/3PL's
- Evaluate Stock valuation to ensure maximum profits for the business with best use of Cashflow
- Coordinate with the production team and the sales and distribution teams to ensure the supply of material & production is in line with the demand plan
- Monitor demand fluctuations & forecast risks to develop risk mitigation plans
- Ensure optimum stock levels comply with sales demand and stock surplus
- Manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems, and procedures
- Regularly analyse inventory to identify fast and slow-moving stock
- Develop inventory control processes that help reduce stock levels and higher turnover of stock
- Maintain integrity of the inventory system ensuring a high degree of accuracy
- Identify and support revenue enhancement opportunities including analysis of inventory levels e.g., slow moving SKUs, seasonal trends
- Support any new business development

**About You**:

- Must have worked in an environment where you have established change management
- Must take total ownership in getting tasks completed
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in demand planning/inventory control
- Experience in Foods Imports and FMCG
- Direct involvement in implementing forecasting tools/systems is well regarded
- Advanced excel with a proven ability to build and maintain complex spreadsheets
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Experience devising, developing & implementing new demand planning systems
- Think outside the box and make a difference. Supply chain is a changing environment, and we need to adapt
- Ability to deal with high pressure scenarios in a calm and systematic manner
- A willingness to learn, be challenged and be part of a team of like-minded people
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift

- DANDENONG SOUTH, VIC 3175: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
