Here at Lovitt’s Dandenong South, we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor on a permanent full-time basis. This is a newly established Leadership role for the business, formed to support operational productivity and enhance business performance.
The ideal applicant (you) will have experience working in an FMCG manufacturing environment, in similar roles. As an experienced SupplyChain Supervisor, you will effectively coordinate our clients supply chain as it relates to purchasing, inventory and risk management in order to provide efficient and uninterrupted supply of products to their customers.
**Key responsibilities include**:
- Providing leadership and support to the supply chain team in line with business requirements, including supervision of procurement/demand planning, stock control and warehouse/logistics functions.
- Reviewing the operations end-to-end supply chain strategies to achieve improved inventory control, customer service and cost efficiencies
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders, both internal and external
- Ensure alignment with scheduling and logistics expediting supplier orders where necessary
- Interface between logistics providers and customer replenishment teams including time slot bookings and prioritisation of orders to ensure service levels are met.
- Maintain an active supplier performance program, analyse and report on Supply Performance metrics
- Coordinate sourcing of new Suppliers domestic and internationally of raw materials and packaging products including pricing negotiations
- Approval and verification of costs within scope of control to ensure internal business plan including budgets are met.
- Tertiary credentials in related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a leader in a similar supply chain position ideally within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
- Superior end to end knowledge of Supply Chain operations
- Demonstrated leadership & people supervision capabilities including well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
- Excellent time management skills including the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise own workload through delegation and problem solving where required to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services
- Leadership of continuous improvement to consistently drive improvement initiatives within supply chain operation and organisation
- A strong customer focussed approach working with AAA customers
- Advanced IT skills with solid understanding of B2B/EDI, RF scanning operating, & accounting systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel with the ability to gather and analyse data.
- Strong written and verbal interchange to both internal and external stakeholders
- Be results oriented with both a strategic and hands on approach.
