Supply Manager

As a **Supply Manager**, you will be based in **Clayton, VIC**, and report to the Supply Chain Manager. You will be responsible for the inventory, raw material, and ANZ purchased goods supply and service for all business units.

You will also collaborate with the business units and planning teams to optimize cost, service, and working capital objectives and succeed the supply team. Flexible work arrangements can be discussed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow PPG's EH&S regulations by adhering to guidelines & procedures for safe work practices - your safety is our number one priority
- Lead, coach, and mentor the supply team to reach their full potential
- Assist in the development of supply plans, maintain accurate master data
- Analyse and optimize inventory levels for ANZ to purchase finished goods and Clayton raw materials
- Ensure timely communication and contingency plans are implemented for any supply issues
- Work closely with operations, demand, and planning teams to optimize schedules
- Drive continuous improvement and the reduction of freight costs to the business
- Develop and implement supply chain IT process improvements such as ERP and resource planning
- Ensure sustainable actions are completed in GS2
- Complete MOC actions within agreed timeframes
- Optimize working capital whilst maintaining service and efficiency, ensuring support of inventory policy
- Drive operations actions identified in SBU RA reviews
- Develop an action plan to optimize inventory holistically for RM and PFG quarterly
- Support supply chain projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement
- Assume responsibility for data integrity in the MRP setup
- Participate in relevant Supply Meetings with internal and external suppliers
- Address and escalate in regular cadence issues with APAC Masterdata, Goods receipts, and procurement contract issues
- Support the Supply Chain Manager in preparation for Supply review (IBP)
- Monitor and action Master data Exception messages (cancellation message = 0, Reschedule in = 3 supplier / week & Reschedule out = 3 supplier / week)
- Measure and drive a balanced scorecard

**Qualifications**:

- A relevant qualification or equivalent work experience in Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in leading and mentoring teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable with influencing managers and employees at all levels of the business
- Previous experience with ERP will be highly regarded
- Sound analytical skills
