**Maintenance & Facilities Specialist Overview

- Support the Maintenance Manager to support in ensuring a safe, compliant & functional site for the team

**The Opportunity
The Maintenance & Facilities (F&M) Specialist responsibility is to work alongside the F&M Manager to ensure the facility and assets are managed in accordance with Australian Standards, comply with local and statutory regulations and Primary Connect standards and policies to ensure delivery to our customers are achieved at mínimal cost, injury or environmental incident.
**Key Responsibilities include:
- Support in overall management of all matters relating to F&M operations, engineering, risk and compliance
- Monitor and manage F&M contractor works and activities, to ensure all works are satisfactorily and safely completed to Primary Connect policies, procedures and standards, so as to minimise disruption to occupants and operators
- Onsite management of the service agreement of residential contractors for Cleaning & Hygiene, Material Handling Equipment, Security and Automation, as key point of contact on site and the escalation point
- Onsite management of non-residential contractors as in work authorities, permit to work and planned and unplanned service delivery
- Ensure all relevant F&M statutory requirements are implemented and adhered to by all stakeholders, in order to maintain compliance at the DC
- Deliver Stay in Business (SIB) CAPEX projects on budget and on-time with all compliance paperwork documentation required
- Operate and maintain the maintenance planning CMMS and document all service and compliance reports
- Formulate and deliver operating expenditure budgeting and forecasting
- Admin tasks such as site inspections, purchase orders, receipting and audits

- Strong communication and influencing skills to effectively build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in the maintenance/facilities or property industry
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills
- Ability to identify, manage and mitigate risk
- Demonstrates genuine care and respect for peoples, approachable and available, provides guidance, support and provides feedback
- Ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and inputs from internal and external stakeholders
