We are looking for a Program Manager to join our team and play a central role in supporting the technical delivery of GWW's Major Works Capital Delivery Program

In this newly created role, reporting into the Head of Major Infrastructure Program Delivery (MIPD), you will oversee the resource management across the project teams to ensure that GWW’s Major Works Capital Delivery Program is delivered in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Working collaboratively with MIPD Team Leaders, you will provide day-to-day support from technical aspects to business practices, commercials, compliance, and financials, to proactively managing escalations, ensuring project delivery excellence, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, championing safety and quality assurance.

**Responsibilities**
- Ensure the MIPD program of works is being delivered safely, efficiently, effectively, and consistently across the teams.
- Manage the MIPD program delivery budget, schedule, and risk register in line with approvals and delegation of authority.
- Work collaboratively with counterparts across Asset Delivery Lifecycle to manage and allocate future pipeline of projects.
- Working with GWW delivery partners, ensuring construction contracts are managed to GWW requirements, reviewing performance and compliance in accordance with GWW and industry standards.
- Manage the training and development requirements of the delivery teams to improve capability and foster culture of continuous improvement.
- Works with Head of MIPD to develop and implement strategic improvements.

**Skills & Experience**
- Extensive experience in program management within a complex environment such as construction/ maintenance delivery/ field services.
- Experience in the support, uplift, and development of a diverse a workforce.
- Ability to work collaboratively, influence and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders from regulators, government officials and community members.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Qualifications considered - formal project management accreditation like AIPM, PMBOK, Diploma of Project Management, PMP, or equivalent or possess a relevant tertiary degree in Project Management (preferred) or a postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Construction Management.
