**The Opportunity**:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced **Program Manager, Network Refresh**to lead the delivery of one of the university’s most critical digital infrastructure programs. This crucial role will oversee the transformation of VU’s network infrastructure, rationalising legacy systems, reducing technical debt, and improving performance and security across all campuses.
Reporting to the Director, Business Partnering & Governance, the Program Manager will lead strategic planning, implementation, and operational transition of the Network Refresh program, ensuring alignment with VU’s Strategic Plan and long-term technology vision. The role will also support other major projects as required.
This is a university-wide leadership role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, governance oversight, and the ability to operate confidently at executive and Council levels.
**About You**:
You are a strategic and resilient leader with extensive experience in delivering complex, high-impact digital infrastructure programs. You bring a collaborative mindset, strong governance capabilities, and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
You will also possess:
- Qualifications in IT, program management, engineering, or business, with extensive experience in large-scale transformation programs.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including experience working with senior executives and governance bodies.
- Experience in financial management, procurement, and reporting.
- Familiarity with program methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, and MSP.
- A commitment to service excellence, innovation, and leadership.
**Conditions & Benefits**:
**This full-time position will be offered on a 5-year fixed-term contract. An attractive remuneration package is on offer, including an employer superannuation contribution of up to 17%.**
