**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We have an exciting opportunity for a **Sales Support - Software Specialist **to join our Pre-sales team based in Melbourne VIC. Your main responsibility will be to offer software solutions to our new and existing Tier 1 & 2 client base while building long term relationships and driving business growth.
We are looking for someone who is customer focused and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
We operate in a hybrid model which means you have the flexibility of working from home 2 days per week. Our in-office days are used to collaborate within our own team and across functions, connect and ensure we have a presence for our people within the organisation.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Close collaboration with the Presales Solutions team and MPS Sales teams across the broader business
- Growing our Solutions business unit by assisting in securing new customers and identifying additional opportunities within existing customers.
- Assessing a prospect's business process and develop a comprehensive strategy partnering with the Pre-Sales Solutions team
- Responsible for the creation of relevant and targeted communications to clients and prospects
- Generating proposal agreements
- Negotiating complex sales cycle to close
- Ensure comprehensive ongoing customer engagement via a thorough understanding of accounts and industry vertical markets
- Plan, coordinate and conduct strategic customer engagements
- Maintain accurate and timely information in CRM database
**Skills & Qualifications**
- Strong sales skills and experience managing client expectations and relationships in software industry
- Ability to identify customer’s business challenges within the FBAU Solutions offerings
- Ability to design simple and complex solutions that meet customers’ business requirements
- Understands financial aspects of deals and presents financial business case in proposals
- Understanding of customer drivers, purchasing/decision processes
- Ability to prepare and present successfully to C- Level stakeholders within customers
- Understanding of complex solutions sales cycles
