**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum 10 years Oracle Database, WebLogic and EBS architecture and administration experience. Willing to consider other Oracle technologies too (e.g., Siebel, Retail, SSO etc.,).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to articulate Spinnaker message to both technical and non-technical (including CxO level) audience.
- Proven experience with Unix/Linux/Windows operating systems.
- Proven experience working on Oracle Patching/Upgrades/Migrations with clear understanding of the concepts.
- Familiar with Cyber/Information Security concepts both in general and specific to Oracle and/or SAP technologies.
- Experience in a customer-facing, role such as consultant, solutions engineer or solutions architect. DBAs/Apps DBAs/Technical-Functional Architects welcome too.
- Excellent soft-skills (Communication, Coordination and Conviction).
- Proven experience working on Cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, Azure, GCP etc.,) and knowledge of Cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc.,).
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to listen and work with customers in order to fully understand the problem or gap facing them and make sure they adopt the best possible solution.
- Attitude to learn and master new concepts as a self-starter.
- Ability to think rationally and creatively in order to identify opportunities in challenges.
- Experience working in a collaborative, often demanding environment meeting quick turnarounds and tight deadlines.
- Ability to be successful in a team environment. Looking for a team player who believes in sharing and caring.
- MS-OFFICE skills (Mainly MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word)
Nice to Haves:
- Understanding of Oracle Software Licensing/Pricing concepts.
- Understanding of Oracle Technical Software Support/Lifetime Support Policies.
- Understanding of Software products from other vendors like SAP, Microsoft (E.g., SAP ECC/S4/HANA, MS SQL Server etc.,).
- Understanding/Familiarity of Open Source product landscape (E.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB etc.,)
- Understanding of Java functionality within Oracle enterprise software products.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Providing pre-sales technical support to the sales team and prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction, through on-line and in person engagement with prospective customers.
- Able to articulate Spinnaker message to prospective customers with conviction in order to gain their trust and respect.
- Acting as a trusted technical advisor for sales and marketing.
- Contribute to the development then subsequent delivery of high-quality technical presentations and/or demonstrations.
- Be able to articulate Spinnaker’s technical and security approach to support, while developing actual examples of this support approach.
- Understand Spinnaker’s pricing model and replicate that on solutioning aspect of opportunities.
- Understand Oracle licensing principles and be able to articular them to prospects confidently.
- Engage with various other internal teams as necessary to drive and participate in RFI/RFQ/RFP responses.
- Develop new content in the form of whitepapers, blog posts etc., as required, to contribute to the collateral repository used by the team in the sales process.
- Convert technical and security examples into case study style presentations, to be shared with customers and prospective customers.
- Excellent communication skills are required as many engagements are at C-Levels at the customers.
- Attend conferences, symposiums and exhibitions and speak with prospective customers and partners about Spinnaker Support’s offerings.
- Assist sales with the creation of the scoping/solution sections of proposals and contracts.
- Be willing to step outside of comfort zones in exploring new avenues in order to assist Sales team.
- Willing to stretch beyond the standard working hours (where necessary) to assist teams who sit in other time zones.
