**About Beacon Family Healthcare**

Beacon Family Healthcare is a newly established modern medical clinic in Beaconsfield, run by our husband and wife doctor team. We are a community friendly clinic that prides itself in providing a high level of medical services to our surrounding community. Our facilities include 6 consult rooms, treatment room and pathology on site.

Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm, and Sunday 10am - 2pm.

**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Management of both clinical and administration staff
- Recruitment of new reception staff including interviewing
- Supervise & training of new staff members in various roles
- Reception, doctor and nursing staff rostering and monitoring appt book.
- Use of HICAPS and Tyro machine
- Private billing processing knowledge (including EFTPOS and MOTO payments)
- Schedule appointments for new/existing patients
- Medicare re-submits and batching
- Incorrect Medicare claiming adjustments
- Managing third party accounts and Workcover
- Debtors management
- Importing new patient files into Best Practice, including the merging of patient files, generating reports and record transfers as required.
- Using Proda for various Medicare enquires/adjustments/WIP details
- Contributed and maintained a clean and safe work environment
- Infection control and social distancing measures
- Implementing new policies, procedures and manuals.
- Practice social media management
- Oversee inventory and ordering of vaccinations/consumables/stationary
- Processing reports through Best Practice for various data and financial purposes
- Running, printing and consolidating Doctors & Allied health pays & reports
- Emergency response Planning
- Report to directors

**Key Attributes**:

- Prior experience within a Practice Management role.
- Best Practice Experience
- Trained in Microsoft Office Suite
- OH&S: Introductory Course
- CPR & First Aid
- Using effective communication to deal with aggressive behaviours
- Victorian C Class Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision and excellent customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Always be well-presented, friendly, courteous and obliging.
- Represent the practice in a confident and positive manner at all times.
- Leadership skills
- Resourcefulness
- Undertake all duties in a diligent manner, with honesty and integrity,
- Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient and practice information.
- Ability to work cooperatively and independently.
- Ability to prioritise and organise, with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Be a team player and assist in answering phones and making appointments when required
