**Role Overview**: As the Practice Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall operational management of our clinic. You’ll also contribute directly to patient care by working some hours at Reception each week. You will work closely with our accountant, who manages payroll and invoices, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Overseeing the smooth operation of the clinic to ensure efficiency and high-quality patient care.
- Managing staff, including rosters, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution.
- Leading staff meetings, coordinating education and training, and driving new initiatives.
- Liaising with the accountant to ensure accurate financial management, including accounts and maximizing MBS payments.
- Managing the accreditation process and ensuring compliance with RACGP Standards.

**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:

- Proven experience in General Practice management.
- Strong business development skills.
- Expertise in liaising with accountants on financial matters.
- In-depth understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule.
- Knowledge of 5th RACGP Standards and Accreditation requirements.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

**Desirable**:

- CPM or Diploma of Practice Management, including Fellowship of AAPM.
- Current CPR certificate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
