**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Leasing Manager to join our Property function. Reporting to the Senior Property Development Manager your role will be to lease, purchase and develop, expand or exit sites to facilitate Officeworks strategic network plan and business requirements.

Your responsibilities will include; opening the budgeted number of stores for the relevant fiscal year; identifying and securing optimum locations in each catchment/ region; conduct extensive due diligence to ensure the site is suitable for leasehold or freehold acquisition; negotiate competitive rates; negotiate and finalise Agreement for leases.

**About you**:
To be considered, you will be degree qualified, preferably in a property related field. This is coupled with 5+ years’ in a similar role, managing leasing requirements and engaging with owners to direct and oversee the fit outs. Experience from a similar retail or distribution business will be looked upon favourably. Essential to your success is your ability to quickly build solid relationships to form good bonds with people, balancing this with your expertise as a strong negotiator.

This is an exciting time to join the team to work on a full pipeline of opportunities which have been identified. There is an opportunity for hybrid working throughout the week and some interstate travel may be required at certain times.
