About the Role

Join a well-established boutique real estate agency in Hawthorn East, known for its professionalism, culture, and commitment to client care. We're seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Property Manager to take ownership of a property portfolio, supported by an exceptional team and streamlined systems.

You'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of residential properties, ensuring an outstanding experience for both landlords and tenants while maintaining compliance with all legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Portfolio Management
  • Manage all aspects of residential property management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Conduct entry, routine, and exit inspections, and prepare detailed condition reports.
  • Manage maintenance requests and coordinate trades efficiently.
  • Handle rent reviews, lease renewals, and bond administration.
  • Oversee arrears management and ensure timely rent collection.
  • Attend and represent the agency at VCAT hearings when required.
  • Collaborate with the Leasing and Administration teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain accurate records within PropertyMe, ensuring compliance at all times.

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Property Management.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of current Residential Tenancies legislation.
  • Tech-savvy with experience using PropertyMe (or similar CRM).
  • Current Agent's Representative Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
