Talent International is currently recruiting for a highly experienced HR Workforce Advisor to work for one of our NSW Governent clients based in Surry Hills. This position is a part time contact (3 days/ week - Monday to Wednesday). This position will be a contract role till 31 December initially. This Position is paying between $45-50 per hour plus superannuation.

**PRIMARY PURPOSE**

The purpose of this role to provide advice and support to managers and staff across all areas of workforce management, to facilitate and deliver seamless recruitment and selection services, and drive effective implementation of workforce policies, projects and initiatives. The Workforce Advisor plays a critical role in delivering operational workforce services that support the vision of
the organisation.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Provide support and advice to managers and staff on workforce policies and awards, role design and evaluation, recruitment, learning, performance development and management, disciplinary action, and investigations.
- Contribute to the implementation of local strategies that enable a positive and respectful workplace culture.
- Facilitate and support recruitment and selection activities partnering with the district Workforce Business Operations team to provide a seamless service.
- Implement approved change management, restructure and review programs.
- Deliver information sessions on programs, policies, procedures, systems, and initiatives and contribute to orientation activities.
- Support the implementation of strategic projects and initiatives within client group.
- Act as a champion and advocate of the different workforce systems, responding to queries, resolving issues, providing support and generating reports and information.
- Develop communications, processes and systems to implement workforce programs, policies, functions and services.
- Provide advice, investigate and manage the settlement of grievances, misconduct and disciplinary matters.
- Provide facilitation and conflict resolution services to support early and effective resolution of workplace concerns.
- Collaborate with Work Health and Safety, Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation teams to support the efficient management of work and non-work related injuries.
- Ensure compliance with Working with Children Checks and other clinical registrations.
- Support accreditation activities, quality improvement initiatives, and the delivery of facility KPI's such as Aboriginal Employment.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Tertiary qualifications in the discipline of business, human resources, organisation development or other relevant area and/or experience delivering the full breadth of operational human resources services within a busy service delivery environment.
- Experience in developing and communicating documents and processes to implement a range of workforce policies, projects and services.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders including senior leaders, managers and staff.
- Ability to think and solve problems, plan and prioritise, and deliver results within a busy service delivery context, with multiple industrial instruments and policies, and conflicting operational priorities.
