- Facilitate the collection and curation of volunteer stories to highlight impact, celebrate contributions, and enhance engagement across organisational communications.
- Develop and lead connection initiatives such as online communities, in-person social events, regional meet-ups, and other platforms to strengthen engagement and belonging.
- Maintain volunteer records in Rosterfy, track engagement metrics, and provide reporting to support improvements and strategic decision-making.
- Gather and analyse volunteer feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other channels to identify opportunities, address gaps, and mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, regional coordinators, and operational leads to embed volunteers effectively into GDQ programs and services.
- Support and lead special projects, coordinating volunteer participation, evaluating outcomes, and integrating successful initiatives into ongoing processes.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Experience in volunteer engagement or coordination, HR or related roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse volunteers and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage engagement initiatives, events and campaigns.
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Experience with databases, CRMs or volunteer management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to continuous learning, process improvement and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
If you're passionate about creating meaningful volunteer experiences and are ready to make a genuine difference and engage volunteers who contribute their time to our cause, we'd absolutely love to hear from you
