**The Company**

Our client is proudly Australian owned and operated. With a focus on high products and delivery of service. Playing a pivotal role within the business we are looking for an experienced transport professional to come in and take ownership of the distribution of product across Victoria.

**The Role**

**Overlooking the transport of product from our clients side, your responsibilities include**:

- Transport and route planning for customer groups across Victoria.
- Maximise vehicle utilisation and compliance aligning with standards and safety.
- Manage both company fleets and 3PL providers.
- Manage maintenance and repairs.
- Lead transport continious improvement strategies for the Victorian transport model.
- Engage with customers when required and assist through any escalations.

**Your Background**

**In order to be successful in this role you will;**
- Have at least 2-3 years experience in transport planning.
- FMCG/Logistics experience is essential.
- Understanding of COR and Heavy Vehicle regulations is essential.
- The ability to communicate across both internal and external stakeholders within the business.
- SAP experience would be an advantage.
- Victorian Metro and Regional knowledge is an advantage.
