We are currently looking for a highly motivated and safety focused **Operations Controller**_ _**to join our dedicated Bulk Chemical team, based in **Altona, Vic** on a full-time basis.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position will be primarily responsible for:

- Coordination and scheduling of fleet and staff movement including monitoring hours and delays.
- Allocation and coordination of customer bookings and deliveries in a timely and efficient manner in alignment with business expectations.
- Building relationships with our current customer base and ensuring a high level of service is offered.
- Out of hours on-call rotating roster.
- Monitor and manage all aspects of fatigue compliance.
- Assisting with payroll-related activities.
- Accurate management of up-to-date driver paperwork in accordance with legislative and business requirements.
- Assisting with the commercial process of the division when required.

**To be successful in this dynamic role you will have**:

- Experience within a similar role, ideally within transport and logistics.
- Willingness to collaborate within a motivated team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail.
- Previous experience or understanding of COR, NHVAS, BFM and Mass Management compliance accreditation systems and regulatory requirements.
- The ability to do some short-term travel, if required.
