Fleet Controller

At Niche Logistics we are looking for an experienced Fleet Coordinator for our Melbourne Depot based in Altona.

**Why the Role Exists**:
The Fleet Coordinator's purpose is to provide quality on-time service to our vast customer base
This will be done through the skilled planning, allocating and constant monitoring of our VIC-based vehicles, drivers, and customers. Your ability to build strong relationships with drivers and customers both internally and externally will be a critical part of the role. The successful applicant will be very experienced in large fast-paced transport businesses.
You will need to have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to immediately problem solve in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with conflicting responsibilities where timeslot deliveries and pickups are critical to business success.

**What we need from you.**
- Have experience with Local allocation
- Experienced allocator with extensive knowledge of the Melbourne metro area
- At least 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced allocating role with a large fleet
- Excellent planning and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment while coordinating multiple drivers and vehicles consistently
- Excellent focus and attitude towards customer service
- Strong work ethic and poses a “Can do” attitude
- Team player
