**About Your Role**

Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Compliance and Assurance Officer to work within our Quality, Safeguarding and Practice (QSP).

We’re looking for a Compliance and Assurance Officer to help Scope meet regulatory obligations and strengthen governance frameworks across our disability services in Victoria and New South Wales. This role is central to upholding quality, safety, and accountability by monitoring compliance, coordinating assurance activities, and driving continuous improvement. You’ll also play an important part in supporting practice governance and regulatory reporting within the team.

**Your Key Focus**
- Carry out internal audits and assurance checks to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and compile information to assist with regulatory reports, submissions, and audits for government agencies and funding bodies.
- Contribute to data collection and analysis from audits and compliance activities to support continuous improvement.
- Keep accurate records and documentation to meet governance, compliance, and assurance requirements.
- Assist in implementing risk management and compliance frameworks, ensuring they align with best practice.

**What We Look For**
- Tertiary qualifications (or working towards) in governance, risk, law, business, or a related discipline.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks in disability services, such as NDIS legislation, quality standards, and safeguarding requirements.
- Proven experience in compliance, regulatory reporting, risk management, or governance within the human services or disability sector.
- Background in conducting internal audits or assurance activities.
- Familiarity with government reporting requirements and compliance systems.
- Understanding of safeguarding, incident management, and quality improvement practices in the disability sector.
