Education Quality Officer

About the Role

The Education Quality Officer plays a key role in supporting the coordination and implementation of Swinburne's Quality Assurance Framework. Reporting to the Associate Director, Education Quality, the role is responsible for managing a cyclical program of work that underpins academic quality assurance and continuous improvement across the University.

This position acts as a liaison between academic schools, professional services, and external partners delivering Swinburne's courses, ensuring quality processes are consistently applied and documented. The role contributes to the preparation of reports, maintenance of quality registers, and supports internal review and compliance activities.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: 

•    Experience in a higher education or similar environment, preferably in quality assurance, academic administration, or curriculum support.

•    Familiarity with the Higher Education Standards Framework and TEQSA requirements.

•    High?level interpersonal skills, including the ability to work in a team and maintaining relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

•    High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across several stakeholders. 

•    Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to draft reports and presentations.

•    Highly proficient computer and data management skills, in particular MS Office 365.
