Are you a finance all-rounder who loves variety and values working in a team?

We're looking for a hands-on Finance Officer to manage day-to-day financial operations and support wider business administration.

This part-time role - 16 hours per week - blends bookkeeping accuracy with financial management, compliance, and coordination of key business functions.

You'll handle everything from accounts, payroll and BAS through to insurance and ACNC reporting — ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, balance, and being part of a collaborative workplace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare and lodge BAS, ensuring GST compliance
  • Process payroll and superannuation, including reporting obligations
  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
  • Maintain insurance, contractor, and professional services records
  • Support audit preparation and respond to auditor or accountant queries
  • Assist with ACNC reporting and other corporate compliance submissions
  • Coordinate and maintain records for insurance policies, contractor agreements, and professional services
  • Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and service providers
About You

You'll have experience in bookkeeping, accounting or finance administration (not-for-profit experience a plus) and a strong attention to detail.

You're proactive, organised, and enjoy working both independently and in a supportive team.

You'll bring:

  • High proficiency with MYOB accounting software
  • Sound understanding of BAS, payroll, and superannuation requirements
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel software
  • High proficiency with PDF document software
  • Excellent communication and time-management skills
  • A flexible, positive, and collaborative mindset

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Business Administration (minimum)
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or related field (desirable)
  • Minimum 3 years in a similar role

Our hybrid model includes office collaboration on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexibility to work remotely on other days.
