**About the team**:

We have an opportunity in 18 month fixed term role to join our team in an External Reporting lead position.

**About the role**:
You will work with internal key stakeholders including the Head of Financial Reporting & Governance; Financial Accounting & Reporting Managers -Group & Super; All /finance General managers and “Heads of “; the Company Secretary and our External Auditor team. This role reports into the External Reporting & Governance Lead and is responsible for the:

- The management and delivery of Coles half yearly financial statements
- To manage preparation of Audit & Risk Committee reporting
- To support provision of technical accounting advice, support and training to Coles
- To oversee management of DOA mailbox and compliance with DOA policy.

**About you and your skills**:

- Significant experience in an external audit role and/or a financial control/external reporting role within an organisation (7 + years)
- Experience working with large corporates. Retail would be preferred but not essential
- Listed experience preferred
- Experience collaborating and coordinating with a broad range of stakeholders across a business
- Experience with report writing: Board / A&RC reports and financial governance policies
- Tertiary accounting qualification (Bachelor of Commerce or similar)
- CA/CPA with post qualification experience
