**About the role**:
As Business Assurance Manager you will set the strategic direction for the Business Assurance Store Audit Program. Focused on keeping our stores safe, complaint for the benefit of our team members, customers, and the public. To help deliver this your will be responsible for;
- Develop and agree with stakeholders / implement the operating model and ways of working to deliver the Program.
- Develop and deliver the annual program (~1500 audits) through the effective program management of scheduling, training, communications, technology, site visits, self-assessments, targeted reviews and reporting.
- Deliver insights to senior stakeholders across the business to support improvement in risk management across stores / sites.
- Report on Program matters to the Coles Board Audit and Risk Committee.
- Manage the relationship and any procurement activity with the third-party provider of the Program.
- Drive continuous program improvement.
**About you and your skills**:
We are looking for a confident operator that can engage a variety of stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes. You will also have;
- Extensive experience including leadership / project experience
- Risk management, audit, compliance /regulatory environment or project management experience
- Operations experience, preferably in retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, highly sensitive business outcome.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior and multiple stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes
- Tertiary degree, e.g. Bachelor of Commerce / Business / Economics, or risk management related discipline
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels (executive leadership team, senior management and TMs)
- Outstanding critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent numeracy and Excel skills / Power BI skills; data analytics skills a plus
