**about the role**
Chevron Australia Downstream has an exciting opportunity for an **HR Officer (Operations)**. Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner Operations, this role will be based in Brisbane and is for a **fixed term of 2 years.**
The role will execute the deployment of HR Programs and Projects and manage the day-to-day HR Operations predominately working with the retail network to meet business needs. The role will manage different systems and perform tasks related to:
- Kronos Retail time and attendance system
- Preceda Retail Payroll
- Peoplestreme - Retail HR system
- CAL Retail learning platform
- System administrator for archive system
- Workday HR Reporting
- Service Awards Management
- Long Service Leave
- Assisting with projects

**Knowledge, skills, experience**:
Experience
- Minimum 3 years professional HR experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience using HR systems (Peoplestreme and Workday very desirable)
- Minimum 2 years Payroll experience (desirable)
**Skills**:
- Strong system/HR operation knowledge
- Well-developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to think laterally and to problem solve
- Prioritise tasks to ensure positive outcomes for the business and key stakeholders
- Advanced level proficiency in MS Office products and other database programs
- Ability to work as a team player and work towards team goals and work unsupervised
- Proven ability to operate in a confidential manner at all times
