- Strategic HR Initiatives: Drive the implementation of key HR strategies that enhance employee engagement, retention, and performance. This includes developing policies, procedures, and systems that align with our business strategy.
- Recruitment & Talent Management: Support the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing top talent to onboarding. You'll also help with workforce planning and the development of talent pipeline.
- Learning & Development: Oversee performance management frameworks and champion learning and development initiatives, including coaching programs for current and emerging leaders.
- Compliance & Advice: Provide expert advice on a wide range of HR functions, including relevant legislation and compliance frameworks. You'll ensure our employment practices are always up-to-date and compliant with local regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders from the CEO and Division Heads to counterparts abroad and the global HR team, in order to deliver tailored HR solutions.
We're looking for a seasoned professional with the following qualifications and experience:
- Experience: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, with at least two years in a similar role and a total of 10 + years of overall HR experience. Experience in managing employee relations is ideal.
- Expertise: Sound knowledge of Australian industrial, OH&S, EEO, and Anti-Discrimination legislation, particularly in Queensland. You should have a deep understanding of the Australian employment market and established connections with HR service providers.
- Leadership: The ability to lead and coach junior team members, review their work, and contribute to the development of departmental policies and strategic priorities.
- Communication: Advanced communication skills with the ability to influence, persuade, and build trust with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
- International work forces: Experience supporting expatriate staff in a corporate context will be highly regarded.
