As a HR Operations Officer in HR Operations, Payroll and Establishment, you will be responsible for:

- Performing payroll reporting activities such as:

- pay reconciliations and monitoring the robotic (RPA) advance payment process
- statutory payroll reporting i.e., Single Touch Payroll (STP) and superannuation file validations using your sound understanding of the payroll compliance and associated legislation
- integrity and exception reporting for compliance with audit and business process quality requirements
- Scheduling and monitoring pay run tasks outputs including table updates
- Payslip file generation and vendor deduction reports and posting files to General Ledger.
- Performing user acceptance testing to support HR system upgrades, agency transitions/Machinery of Government changes (MOG's); system enhancements and legislative changes
- Analysing and interpreting pay run service delivery issues, quickly recommending effective solutions and coordinating with the appropriate internal business areas to facilitate resolution
- Providing accurate and timely advice, including the preparation and collation of information and correspondence to customers, clients, management, staff, and other external payroll contacts
- Developing and maintaining productive work relationships to identify and implement business practice improvements, ensuring a high-quality customer service for internal and external stakeholders
- Maintaining a sound knowledge and understanding of relevant human resource and payroll related policies, entitlements, procedures, and practices as well as an understanding of our business partners' needs
- Collaborate in an accountable, fair, and safe work environment by embracing human resource management practices including workplace health and safety, employment equity, anti-discrimination, and performance management

**Other requirements**: Occasional weekend work may be required during peak workload periods to support business-as-usual and project work.
