About the Role

Reporting to the Finance and HR Manager, you'll play a vital part in ensuring Hetech continues to be a workplace where people feel safe, heard, and supported. From improving systems and supporting wellbeing, to handling everyday HR matters with care and professionalism, you'll help drive initiatives that make a real difference.

This is a part-time position (2 days per week) with the option for a hybrid work arrangement for the second day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, systems, HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead and champion the onboarding experience in our new HRIS platform.
  • Actively respond to workplace matters including complaints, conflicts, grievances and misconduct.
  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment and induction of new team members.
  • Assist with annual performance and remuneration review process.
  • Maintaining employee records and database management.
  • Coordinate workplace health and safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate Company social events and social initiatives.

About You

  • A formal HR qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • A working knowledge of Fair Work legislation, the Manufacturing Award, and WorkCover processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and people skills.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sensitivity with confidential issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Be flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

*Experience working in manufacturing and/or electronics industry will be highly regarded.
