**Systems and IT Manager**
- Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including team development, performance management, and budget control.
- Set their own budgets and manage with pre-defined budgets
- Set measurable goals inline with organisational objectives
- Ensure all systems, software, and IT infrastructure are current, secure, and fully operational.
- Oversee the roll-out of all IT infrastructure and systems for business office and remote project sites
- Establish and conduct audit schedules, which includes regular site visits to audit system compliance, perform gap analyses, and recommend solutions to close identified gaps.
- Manage the implementation and roll out of any systems, software, hardware which include training of staff
- Collaborate with department leads to identify system and certification gaps, and develop strategies to meet certification requirements
- Ensure system uptime and data security, maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Manage and integrate multiple IT systems, recommending upgrades and process improvements to enhance operational performance.
- Identify opportunities for certification and qualification improvements aligned with business needs and industry best practices.
- Monitor IT infrastructure and systems to ensure business continuity and robust cybersecurity measures are in place.

**Compliance, Pre-qualifications and Standards**
- Compliance with relevant regulatory and statutory frameworks
- Develop and implement strategies for the implementation of organisational ISO certifications, including but not limited to ISO 9000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001.
- Maintain relevant organisational qualifications for states and federal government authorities, such as but not limited to transport authorities, rail, power, water infrastructure, defence at both a regional, state and federal level as applicable

**IT Infrastructure and Information Management**
- Responsible for the company’s IT and systems infrastructure
- Identify risk and implement mitigation strategies to IT and system’s performance
- Lead the selection, implementation and maintenance of the company’s IT systems
- Lead the selection, implementation and maintenance company’s software, hardware and systems across all business sectors
- Lead the selection, implementation and maintenance for company mobile phones
- Lead the selection, implementation and maintenance of network management, systems administration and provide technical support
- Responsible for ensuring organisational information, data and intellectual property is secure
- Ensure adequate response for to any systems, and IT queries
- Responsible for developing, managing and leading the Systems and IT, including setting and working with agreed budgets

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 20+ years industry experience
- Experience for a Systems and IT Manager in an Engineering and Construction Company
- IT Systems Development and Implementation: Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide IT systems across various departments such as HR, finance, legal, commercial, project delivery, and fleet management.
- Demonstrated experience in standardising processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency, safety, and productivity across a multi-site organisation.
- Experience in rolling out and managing IT infrastructure for both office locations and remote project sites
- Experience with managing compliance and certifications, including ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 27001 (Information Security), and sector-specific certifications (e.g., Transgrid, EnergyCo, Powerlink, ARTC, TAO, TfNSW or similar).
- Experience in managing data security, cybersecurity measures, and ensuring compliance with relevant data protection legislation, such as the Privacy Act 1988 and industry-specific cybersecurity regulations.
