About the Role

We are seeking a Finance Systems Implementation Specialist with strong Sage ERP expertise to join a high-profile finance transformation project. This is a hands-on role that combines system implementation, data migration, and process optimisation to help shape the finance function of a dynamic, fast-paced organisation in the education sector.

You'll work closely with the finance team and a global project team to implement and optimise finance systems, ensuring best practice processes and seamless reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and optimisation of Sage ERP for the Australian operation.
  • Drive data migration, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support requirement gathering and stakeholder engagement across finance and business teams.
  • Provide guidance on best practices and system processes.
  • Collaborate with finance colleagues to configure systems, develop reporting templates, and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Assist with testing, training, and adoption to ensure a smooth go-live.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Sage ERP subject matter expertise – Sage Intacct
  • Experience in data migration, optimisation, and process improvement.
  • Ability to provide best practice guidance and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Comfortable working in a lean, collaborative finance team.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Project experience in both system implementation and ongoing BAU environments is highly desirable.
