Our client is seeking a reliable and resilient Collections Officer to join their team in Melbourne.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you'll be responsible for maximising our client's revenue by efficiently managing their client accounts to ensure the effective and timely collection of debts.

You'll also be responsible for assisting the collection team on their call centre dialler activity.

**Some responsibilities for this role will include**:

- Collections/Financial:_
- Maximise Recoveries and Revenue within assigned Portfolio ensuring quality standards and goals are met or exceeded.
- Ensure all accounts are worked correctly by effectively communicating expectations, consequences, changes, policies, and procedures to internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate as call agent in dialler campaigns as requested, typically 2 days per week
- Work with sales staff to maintain client relationships.
- Client Relationships_
- Liaise with clients and provide appropriate advice on all collection matters.
- Maintain constant contact with key clients
- Operational/Debtrak_
- Basic understanding of Debtrak and how daily processing of collection actions is conducted
- Review workflows and develop client and industry specific collection strategies

**What you'll bring to the table**:

- At least 6-12 months experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills and able to liaise with stakeholders of all levels
- Resilient and reliable
- Must enjoy the collections/credit industry
- Work well within a team as well as autonomously
- Ideally you'll have Debtrak experience
