Our client is a boutique collections agency based in Melbourne. They help businesses recover what they're owed with professionalism, persistence, and respect. They are now seeking a motivated
Collections Officer
to join their small, supportive team.

About The Role
This is a hands-on collections role where you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing and recovering client receivables assigned to you
  • Liaising with clients and keeping them updated on progress
  • Contacting debtors by phone and email to achieve payment outcomes
  • Handling disputes with professionalism and empathy
  • Maintaining accurate notes and reporting in their systems, with strong attention to detail
  • Contributing to client service excellence and ongoing process improvements

You'll report directly to the Managing Director and be trusted to manage your caseload independently, with support when you need it.

About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • Prior experience in collections, credit control, or receivables management
  • Confidence in having sometimes difficult conversations with debtors
  • Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Resilience, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
