**About the role**

As the Group Product Manager for Everyday Market, you will lead a team of high-performing Product Managers and will be accountable for a product suite that delivers accretive customer experiences and supports the business ambition to drive great experiences for customers and sellers alike.

To do this, you will:

- partner with business leaders to develop the Product Vision and create the underlying plan to support the delivery of that vision
- stay ahead of the changes in the business and the market, reflect and offer new insights and advice to ensure your team has the knowledge and information to make critical day-to-day decisions.
- make judgement calls and investment tradeoffs when the team is having difficulties prioritising
- bring a big picture view to every product strategy - ensuring we are delivering for short-term business needs, but with a long-term view.
- develop and drive Everyday markets product roadmap, balancing innovation, reducing technical debt, BAU and incident management
- partner with stakeholders across the organisation to align on short and long term initiatives, ensuring clarity of strategy and cross squad dependencies
- continuously leverage data & insights to drive improvement and sustainable growth for Everyday Market, our customer base and our critical stakeholders [internal and external]

Along with leading over-arching product strategy and delivery, a critical component of this role is line management responsibility, coaching and supporting their team to be successful in their roles. This includes:

- recruit, onboard, coach and grow capabilities of direct reports so they are engaged and empowered in their role and have a clear career path at WooliesX.
- be responsible for the well-being of your team supporting and guiding them across the complex WooliesX ecosystem so that they can deliver long term success.
- drive “Chapter Time” programs that deliver value back into the Practice and the business
- support GM of Product and Head of Product in designing and leading a world class Product Practice.

**Core Capabilities**
- Can contribute to decisions on investment priorities for portfolio of products
- Can manage a complex matrix of stakeholders, across seller growth, marketing, support, commercial, platform and more to deliver seamless customer & seller experiences
- Can provide guidance to Product Managers to ensure that the product portfolio adheres to a comprehensive and integrated product portfolio strategy creating delightful end-to-end experiences
- Can use data tools and analytics to drive the right strategic decisions, create actionable insights and measure the success of their work
- Can review product decisions and provide input on the likely financial impacts to the business
- Can advise on product metrics across the Business' product portfolio, and provide input on tracking and reporting tools
- Can provide advice and guidance on product development frameworks, tools and practices that keep teams on schedule without sacrificing critical scope or product quality
- Can lead and directly manage a high achieving team, delivering successful results for the organisation, and as such coach others to become better leaders
- Can make judgements and tradeoffs which sometimes require difficult conversations. You are confident in your ability to challenge others’ respectfully
- Can champion an engaged and accountable team culture and be instrumental in improving team performance
- Can provide advice on building trust and managing professional relationships as stakeholders value the work your squad and chapter are doing
