Cartology is the Woolworths Group’s new stand-alone retail media business. Customer behaviour is changing. **What you'll do
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Group Product Manager to oversee our proprietary data products from strategy to execution. You will play a key role in building a compelling product vision that not only drives informed business decisions but also empowers Cartology to be the most strategic media partner to brands through valuable and actionable insights. Success in this role is contingent on your strong collaboration with senior stakeholders as we lead a trusted narrative around retail media measurement. As a key member of the product leadership team, you will also partner with Group Product Managers from various technology teams to establish a harmonised roadmap for Cartology’s comprehensive platform suite.
Main accountabilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and articulate a clear data product strategy aligned with Cartology’s overall goals and vision
- Partner closely with senior business and technology stakeholders to drive the vision and develop roadmap for the data product portfolio
- Define the product value proposition, based on deep understanding of business and user needs alongside analysis of market and competitor landscape
- Oversee the development and evolution of Carology data product suites including business intelligence, insights and data services & transformation
- Establish success metrics and evaluate the performance of the data products against those measures and targets
- Provide mentorship and guidance to product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture within the data product organization Work with Group Product Managers in other product streams to ensure a consistent roadmap across all Cartology’s platform suite
**What you'll bring**
To be successful in the role, you need to demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge in advertising technologies (both demand and supply sides) and experience in the media or marketing industry
- Proven experience (7+ years) in a leadership role within data product management.
- Solid understanding of data science, analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong data analysis skills along with an understanding of technical patterns used to consume and process data at scale. Must have the ability to discuss technical concepts in detail.
- Thrive at understanding complex business intent and translating strategy into data requirements.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills. Track record of successfully launching and scaling data products.
