**The Role**
The Training Development Manager duties for DASA NDT&CT include (note: not all duties are required to be performed during a 12 month performance cycle):
- Manage courseware and provide oversight of the training delivery system.
- Perform system administration role for all unit training courses including the installation and maintenance of training in Defence learning tools such as Adele & CAMPUS.
- Provide systematic review of all unit training courses to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform governance activities for the training capability including tracking and reporting of key performance indicators.
- Participate in the audit program to maintain ISO 9001 compliance.
- Supervise training administration staff.
- Provide oversight of course critique activities and lead follow-up activities to improve training delivery.
- Provide oversight of Annual Mandatory Training for all staff.
- Perform Information Knowledge Management as the local Objective coordinator.
- Perform other tasks as directed by OIC.
**About our Team**
NDT&CT is a bespoke training development and delivery agency within DASA, providing specialist technical training to aviators and industry. The specialist training ensures regulated maintenance organisations have the appropriately trained technicians to ensure airworthiness is maintained.
We are looking for an experienced Learning and Development Officer who is resourceful and will be able to understand the needs of our various stakeholders and customers. The right person will be a leader who provides support and guidance to their team and who can also work independently to achieve desired training outcomes.
You will be accustomed to working in a highly regulated environment and demonstrate the agility to remain accountable to relevant governance and controls which direct learning activities. You may also be required to ensure compliance with work health safety legislation and Defence safety policy.
Other skills required include:
- Ability to work independently or in a team on projects.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, support working relationships.
- Ability to forecast, plan and administer ongoing governance requirements to ensure NDT&CT remain compliant with regulations.
- Ability to adopt a systems approach to manage deficiencies and navigate complex problems to achieve results.
