We work with clients at all levels of government to deliver an extremely diverse range of logistics solutions - from the distribution of healthcare products, managing the relocation of their employees, delivering fleets of government vehicles, through to helicopter rescue services.
**Job Description**:
An exceptional career development opportunity for a **Continuous Improvement Analyst** to join our Government & Defence team, where you will provide decision making support to the Managers and the customer to achieve business, financial and operational targets.
Possessing a passion for analytics, you drive insights from data and challenge the business for reasons around emerging trends, create visibility and transparency to ensure business decisions are based on fact, with a key focus on continuous improvement.
**Key accountabilities will include, but not be limited to**:
- Assist in the development of high-level business performance reports and dashboards for Senior Management
- Assist in the timely compilation of data for business performance reports and dashboards
- Provide analytical support to assist the business to make informed and profitable decisions
- Provide deep dive data analytics and market analysis to identify emerging threats and opportunities
- Build constructive working relationships with leaders and key influencers in the Business, suppliers, and our customers to make sure projects are delivered successfully, and benefits are realised
- Contribute to reports of overall Continuous Improvement activities, accomplishments, projected activities and business case requirements
**Qualifications**:
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Minimum of 18 months experience working in a similar role
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to dive into large data sets
- Strong work ethic, stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
- Advanced MS Office/Excel skills, with knowledge of Tableau and PowerBI highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of Logistics and/or Supply Chain industries is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree, with Lean Six Sigma Green Belt highly desirable
- Must be an Australian Citizen
