Reporting to the General Manager you will be supervising and liasing with the Site Managers, IT officer, Retail/purchasing Manager, Marketing Manager, Relief Manager and HR Manager.
A large part of your role will be engaging all staff to establish and promote a "One team, One Family" culture between Management and staff
**Some of the Key responsiblities are**:
Ensure sites are maintaining consistent QCS Audit results of 95% and above. Undertake a minimum of 8 QCS sites audits each month.
Identify and investigate fuel loss trends (SIRA, CP & Groundwater Monitoring Reports) and provide the necessary analysis and training to Site Managers plus report any ongoing discrepancies to the General Manager for further action.
In liaison with the Retail/Purchasing Manager, ensure sites are ranging appropriate Shop products and stock levels.
Provide feedback on a monthly basis to the General Manager (VIC) to monitor site performance and assist Site Managers to increase sales, reduce costs and maximise profitability.
Assist Site Managers to ensure sites are prepared in terms of stock holdings for peak sales periods e.g. Christmas & Easter.
Monitor and control sites performance in terms of distress stock, theft, sales, margins and expenses as identified by Accounting Team.
Monitor and control sites performance in terms of drive offs, failure to pays and cash shortages and conduct random audits for reporting back to the Accounting team..
Liaise with Retail/Purchasing Manager & General Manager (VIC) to develop and implement Planograms for sites.
Analysis of monthly sales spreadsheet as provided by Price Book Officer and Monthly P/L’s make any necessary commentary on results presented in monthly meetings.
Setup of new stores, shop layouts, stock purchases and licensing as and when required.
Ensure visit all sites on a fortnightly basis, to ensure site QCS standards are being met, company policies and procedures are being adhered to and to maintain a relationship with Site Managers, Assistant Managers and site retail staff.
Collate and file all, OH&S reports, incentive checklists and store meeting documents onto the Head Office Server for sites in your area and for monthly QCS reports done in your alternate area.
Prepare, submit & authorise the Managers monthly & 6 monthly incentive payments to payroll within the required timeframe.
Undertake and manage site repairs & maintenance and capital expenditure within approval limits ensuring that all contractors are adequately licenced and trained to undertake works on service station sites.
Assist site Managers in the delivery of quarterly Site OH&S meetings and ensure they occur.
Must attend at least 1 such meeting for each store in your area once in a calendar year.
Attend and investigate any site incidents, emergencies or insurance claims and provide detailed reporting to the General Manager and/or relevant Authority.
Respond to any customer complaints.
Investigate site efficiency challenges and look for innovative ways to reduce losses and improve profitability.
Review site security systems to monitor staff and customer service, report any issues to General Manager
Conduct Random site cash audits and Car Wash Audits as required but at least twice per year.
Monitor and Maintain all UPSS records in line with Legislative, Regulatory and Company policies and standards.
Review Coffeetime audits completed by Procaffe / Independent self-audits if required and work together to resolve any issues
Ensure Food Offer standards, service, quality are being met.
Liaise with the Retail/Purchasing Manager, Marketing Manager and General Manager (VIC) to help maintain strong business relationships with shop suppliers and ensure sites are receiving appropriate pricing, stock levels and ranging.
Ensure feedback on suppliers, products and promotions are referred to the Retail/Purchasing Manager, Marketing and General Manager (VIC)
Liaise with both the Retail/Purchasing Manager and the Pricebook/IT Officer to ensure accuracy in regard to product pricing, selection and stock levels.
Assist with review of product pricing by Pricebook officer, at least once every 6 months.
Complete monthly OH&S site checklist for each site at least once per 3 month period and submit to Head Office
First point of contact for all site staff
- Managers & Employees, relating to all day to day operational issues such as DFR concerns, shift balancing, EFTPOS Transaction discrepancies, customer issues, safety concerns etc.
