**Your new opportunity**:
The team at Penske Australia have an opening for a **Production Coordinator** to join our experienced and dedicated workshop team at our **Wacol Branch**.
- Support the entire production team with the movement & handling of trucks once they are allocated into the production process including administration and data analysis;
- Assist Production Manager to achieve productivity, efficiency & labour utilisation KPI's;
- Assist Leadership team to maintain product quality standards for finished products;
- Assist the production team with improvements to the production process.
- Collaborate with Production Manager on estimated human (fixed & contract) and material (internal & external suppliers) resources to achieve production targets;
- Plan capital equipment maintenance & servicing to align with production schedule and develop capex approvals for any additional equipment needs;
- Continue to collaborate with other departments including Sales and Engineering to develop PDI centre up-fit menu;
- Collaborate with the Sales department regarding Sales scheduling.

**About you**:

- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic or business qualifications with industry experience.
- Organised professional with vast knowledge of computer software systems, experience with process improvement techniques such as Lean, Scrum, Six Sigma or equivalent preferred.
- Background in automotive or commercial vehicle markets with expertise in flexible production systems & processes preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supplier & materials management with skills to translate this into improved outcomes for business.
- Experience with large commercial vehicle workshops and or large warehouse co-ordination.
