About The Job
The
Production Coordinator
serves as the first point of escalation for production line issues, ensuring smooth operations and optimal performance across shifts. This role is critical for troubleshooting, coordinating quality events, and driving efficiency improvements on the production floor.

Main Responsibilities

• Line Support (50%)- Act as the primary escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving line issues during the shift.
• Event Management & Quality Liaison- Raise and manage production events, ensuring timely communication with quality teams.
• Line/Machine Optimization- Monitor and improve machine performance to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Production Order (P.O.) Updates- Maintain accurate and timely updates to production orders
• Facilitate L1 and +QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation) activities.
• Raise and manage events for the applicable shift, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
• Monitor and coordinate line/machine performance, driving OEE and escalating unresolved issues to the Production Team Leader
• Troubleshoot operational issues during the shift to minimize downtime.
• Submit job requests to Maintenance for equipment repairs or adjustments.
• Escalate shift-related and personnel issues to Production Team Leader promptly.
• Communicate and collaborate with Production Team Leader on performance concerns and resolution strategies.
• Conduct thorough shift handovers to ensure continuity of operations.
• Provide backfill support for operators to minimize stoppages of critical equipment.

About You
Experience & Skills:

• Ideally 1-2 years minimum in a manufacturing environment, FMCG or Consumer Healthcare an advantage
• Working knowledge in GMP background preferred
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to coordinate across teams and maintain clear communication
• Knowledge of production processes and equipment optimisation
• Familiarity with OEE metrics and continuous improvement methodologies preferred
