**Your new opportunity**:
The Production Coordinator will support the Production Manager and Production team ensuring lean manufacturing methodology as the cornerstone of the daily activities required to deliver efficiencies and results in four key areas - safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

In this role you will:

- Support the production team with the movement & handling of trucks once they are allocated into the production process including administration and data analysis
- Assist the Production team to achieve productivity, efficiency & labour utilisation KPI's
- Maintain quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
- Assist the production team with improvements to the production process
- Plan capital equipment maintenance & servicing to align with production schedule and develop capex approvals for any additional equipment needs
- Establish, implement & maintain standard operating procedures for production operations
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Sales department regarding Sales scheduling

**About you**:

- Experience and/or business qualification in a related field
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement techniques such as Lean, Scrum, Six Sigma or equivalent
- Background in automotive or commercial vehicle markets with expertise in flexible production systems & processes preferred
- Strong knowledge of supplier & materials management with ability to translate this into improved outcomes for business
- Previous experience with Safety and Quality Systems
