The role
Reporting to the Principal Governance and Policy Officer, you will prepare and edit correspondence to ensure accurate, timely and relevant information is provided in accordance with departmental guidelines and processes as well as assign, track and monitor all incoming and outgoing correspondence for the Branch.
Furthermore, you will Liaise, negotiate, and consult with senior management and officers within the branch to ensure correspondence is completed in a timely manner in accordance with agreed processes, standards, and guidelines.
The successful person
To be successful in this role you will have a comprehensive understanding and breadth of experience in managing high volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence, including proof-reading, formatting, editing and quality assurance. You will have demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work both autonomously and collobratively as a team member to prioritise work, achieve required outcomes and meet deadlines.
In addition to this, you will have the proven ability to communicate with influence, interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to cultivate productive working relationships and networks.
