We connect brands with everyday consumers using the power of crowdsourcing.
We have a worldwide growing community of shoppers (Spotters), ready to be our customers' eyes and hands on the shop floor. They can gather real-time in-store insights to increase in-store execution, sales, shopping experience and end-to-end business success. Our system provides faster, more detailed & reliable information using the crowdsourcing concept.
Our mission is to use the power of the crowd to help retailers & suppliers work more efficiently through a more predictable, reliable and fast & cost-effective model.
The role
We are looking for a passionate team member with sound experience within the FMCG industry. Someone passionate about customer success, solution selling, technology, pipeline building and leadership to drive SmartSpotter’s business development strategy and growth Nationwide.
You will look after the overall B2B sales strategy along with our Senior BDM, and a fantastic global team.
Understand our customers' needs and assist them to know how SmartSpotter’s value offer can help with their business strategies.
**About You**
We are looking for someone who has:
- 3+ years minimum selling experience in the FMCG industry
- Experience in developing and leading pipeline generating strategies, sales plans and influencing stakeholder relationships.
- Comfortable with Industry segmentation, solution selling, objection solving, lead nurturing
- Thrive on sales targets and a clear focus on results
- A network of contacts within the industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational management skills.
- Great sense of ownership, personal drive and autonomy
**Responsibilities**
- Grow the existing customer base and drive recurring sales by building long-term relationships that position SmartSpotter as a strategic partner
- Define a sales strategy to reach, engage and convert leads into recurrent customers
- Take inquiries and requests from new customers and address their needs from end to end.
- Define a farming strategy to keep existing customers engaged.
- Stay on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are within their budget and meeting their expectations
- Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business (e.g.. Marketing, Operations, etc)
- Create commercial partnerships to unlock new business opportunities (e.g. FMCG/retail organisations, market research firms, among others)
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly
- Build commercial proposals and negotiate contracts
**Skills and qualifications**:
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to call and organise business meetings and develop new business within existing or new customers
- Ability to travel when required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and good attention to detail

**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year
