Hi-Trans Express is a family-owned, national transport provider with over 50 years of experience in the freight and logistics industry. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dynamic Business Development Executive (BDE) to join our high-performing team.

About the Role

As a BDE, you'll play a key role in expanding our client base and growing our national footprint. This hybrid role involves 3–4 days a week on the road meeting potential clients, with the remaining time spent at our depot focusing on prospecting, cold calling, and appointment setting.

You'll be responsible for securing new business opportunities across interstate express and general freight, including palletised and full-load consignments, and managing the full process from first contact to onboarding.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Prospect and pitch our services to potential clients (face-to-face, phone, and email)
  • Develop new business in interstate and linehaul freight
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully onboard new clients
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers
  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets with the support of our experienced team
What We're Looking For

Proven sales or business development experience (Transport & Logistics industry experience is essential)

Exposure to interstate express and general freight markets

Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills

Strong commercial awareness with the ability to work independently

Locations: Opportunities are available in Brisbane and Sydney.
