**Overview**

Do you have a passion for domestic harness and international racing (all codes)? We are on the hunt for a people leader to join our Risk & Trading team to support the day to day operations of our harness and international racing trading teams.

**About the role**

Reporting into the Head of Harness, International & Greyhounds, this role will largely be accountable for overseeing day-to-day operational function and performance of the harness and international racing trading teams. Your key accountabilities will sit within commercial performance, pricing & trading strategy and operational performance. You will work closely with the Senior Racing Optimisation Analyst where you will use data support to influence decision making and to help evaluate operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

- Budget & reforecast compilation as well as weekly and monthly commentary on commercial performance
- Coordinate and evolve pricing and trading strategy design and evaluate their performance
- Collaborate with Harness, International and Commercial R&T team members and tech teams to problem solve and prioritise backlog items
- Price assurance and margin performance insights of harness & international racing markets, including live betting
- Provide coaching and feedback to direct reports on performance and advise on / support focus areas and career development

**About You**
- Proven track record of positive people leadership with a strong commercial acumen
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Ability to see issues through to resolution whilst dealing with multiple stakeholders
- Understanding of trading strategies or an interest in the wagering industry
