The Department of Regional Development, Manufacturing and Water (DRMDW) drives growth for Queensland by managing sustainable water resources, leading innovation in manufacturing, and developing our regions. From our offices in Brisbane and a network of regional offices and manufacturing hubs, more than 580 DRDMW staff work to create a Queensland where communities, businesses and water resources are sustainable and resilient.The HR Advisor role will provide support to team members as well as continue to develop your knowledge of HR matters and contribute to HR projects.Your will have responsibility for, but not limited to: - Provide accurate, timely and authoritative advice, reports, procedures and documentation on a broad range of current and emerging human resource programs. Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with work colleagues, senior management, internal and external clients, valuing diversity and treating people with respect and dignity. Ensure human resource activities align with policy and guidelines, and support achievement of business objectives. Provide administrative support for human resource related matters relevant to the operation of business. Maintain a highly professional relationship with both internal and external stakeholders with a focus on providing exceptional service. Provide secretariat duties for quarterly Agency Consultative Committee. Maintain accurate human resource management information systems (Organsational charts, spreadsheets)
